This costume inherited the codename 'RIDONCULOUS' because the design is so utterly ridiculous and the character's name is Cornelius... Fruit of an unholy union between Prince Phillip of Sleeping Beauty fame, Princess Peach, and a Final Fantasy red mage, the outfit did not turn out to be as embarassing to wear as I thought it would be. I could even say that the fairy-tale prince grew on me.

The look is based on the initial character designs (not the final ones in the game), using the ingame art for details of patterns such as the one on the jacket. All the fabrics were custom-painted to match the different types of stripes (the patterns are not the same on the sleeves and the pants), and the red jacket was quilted then dry-brushed to enhance the quilted look from the stage. Everything was hand-made, including the gloves, and finishing of the awful boots.
